Benn V the Beast for the WBO Middleweight title in 1990.
I see Benn getting hurt early, possibly kd maybe more than once.
But roaring back,to have Mugabi all over the ring.
Benn by KO round 5 .

I like this tear up. And a tear up it would be. Perhaps Benn stops him late.

The version of Mugabi that fought Hagler would give Nigel Benn all he wanted and very possibly more. He didn't believe that he could lose going into that fight and it took Hagler a long time to talk him into it. In the process Hagler took some serious punches to the head and, especially, to the body.
Benn had heart and a will to win so he may win the fight. But he would have to walk through fire to do it.
And, again, factor in different eras and different weight making strategies, based on one fighter being used to same day weigh in and the other weighing in the day before. And Mugabi moved seamlessly from 154 to 160. I reckon Benn would be quite a bit larger at 160 come fight time.

I see it similarly,Fergie. Like the Barkley fight for Benn but a few rounds longer.

Benn was naturally the bigger man. I think he takes it.

Benn would be the one coming out the other side. He'd have some rough moments early but he'd finish it by 5 or 6 IMO.

    Battle of the badass nicknames.

The Dark Destroyer tames The Beast in 4 after being hurt at least a couple of times.

A total war this is. Benn by late KO, perhaps after suffering a knockdown or two himself.
