Who wins? I've got Vitali. Too big. Too strong. Too smart.

Vitali pulls his shoulder swinging at Ali same as he did Chris Byrd. That is the best precedent we have.

Vitali was very hittable, Ali outboxes him and it wouldn't be particularly competitive

Ali outclasses Vitali and stops him in 9 rounds. Vitali was nowhere near as dangerous as guys like Liston, Foreman, Frazier.

Highlight reel Ali was impossible to hit and all his opponents were literally shot Cleveland Williams. Or, Vitali is just robotic or some other Euro-slur. If serious, this is going to be a tough night for Ali, and I'm picking him to still pull a points win out or some stripe of injury TKO, from skin or bones or something. But he'll take damage in the process. Young Vitali will hurt him some, old Vitali will give him a tough volume without perhaps ever really ringing his bell. Wepner used size and fouling to give Ali a grueling night, despite being on the very low end of challengers, skill-wise. It may not be that much an indicator, but it may be. In Ali's prime, short Chuvalo gave Ali a nice trip to the hospital and he wasn't anywhere near the size or skill level of Vitali. Ali will lose rounds to Vitali. He will have to adjust. Luckily for Ali, the left hook is not going to be whipping out like Frazier's from VK and he'll be better avoiding his opponent's best punch with Vitali. His speed and mobility, prime for prime, will defeat Vitali, who will throw a hissy fit at the end of the fight and get the audience to declare him audience-favorite-winner, and the audience will be full of guys who are American patriots who all-of-a-sudden love EE's for reasons. It'll likely see the over, with Ali coming out best.

Ali is like Isreal you cant say anything about him other than praise. The guy fought the most uncoordinated people to ever walk the face of earth. Watching him fight foreman is embarrassing.

Ali beats him to punch on the outside despite the height difference, but due to Ali’s speed advantage and due to the fact he can box with ATG ring IQ.

Vitali would wear ali down with that 6’7 range (He was a master at it) clever awkwardness and brute strength. Those thudding 250lb 1-2’s would eventually find their mark and ali isn’t ‘dancing’ away the whole fight. And go ahead and try the rope a dope on Peak Vitali! lol :D Let’s see how that works out!
