The longer it gets pushed back the more chances increase of problems. They should both just do it next.

 

These talks come up every year and until contracts are actually signed, it’s all just noise. That said, if AJ gets through his next fight clean and Fury stays active, it does make sense timing-wise later in 2026.
Style-wise it’s still a fascinating matchup — Fury’s movement and ring IQ vs AJ’s power and fundamentals. If AJ can close distance and let his hands go, he’s got a chance, but over 12 rounds Fury is still the more adaptable guy.

 

Hearn and Joshua just wasting everyone’s time

I was expecting an Ivan Dychko, Tony Yoka, Hughie Fury level opponent… AJ-Jake Paul II would’ve been more of a challenge than this random Albanian Uber driver, Jesus Christ

 

I agree he wasn't scared, he just awkwardly fumbled the moment, as poor AJ tends to do.

I'm a bit on AJ's side, but let the better man win.

 

Hopefully they both get ko'd in their tune ups and we can move on to relevant fighters.

 

For some die hard fans, Joshua gets to exist in multiple realities.

He can both sit ring side talking about how he's the landlord and boss of the division, but also get as many soft fights against guys literally no one here has heard of as he wants because he's sad about real life.

He could destroy Wilder as a tuneup for Fury, but also he doesn't need to do that because he would beat him anyway and what's the point.

He will DEFINITELY fight Fury after this easy fight, but if they don't fight, Fury ducked and Joshua would've won anyway.
