    What are you on about?
    I'm talking about Tony Yoka

That card is in two weeks
    Why would I mean Fury?

Gives Yoka a pay day after losing out recently and with Anderson pulling out now it's highly likely

''Why are nearing 40 year old fighters needing warm ups'' well, Joshua has not had a fight since being involved in a serious car crash and Fury has just had 12 rounds under his belt I would guess is the reason for him?

The thread title is "Since Fury wants another tune-up fight, who should be next?"

Dubblechin, who you quoted, said: "He should fight Tony Yoka."

"He" presumably being Fury. Yoka is currently unscheduled due to his card being cancelled. If Fury were to fight Yoka, it'd likely be its own event in June/July/August.

Exactly and with Yoka highly likely fighting in two weeks it's probably impossible

Last I checked he still didn't have a fight lined up. I agree that he deserves a decent payday after being mucked around though

Nothing is official but he has requested to step in to cover Anderson
If Dacres agrees I'd imagine it's going to happen

I mean, if you're going to take a pointless fight for the payday, you might as well pick one that you're guaranteed to win...

And it keeps Wilder away from distracting anyone more interesting.

AJ is fighting in July so I actually think another tune up would be good for Fury

I know that, but you miss the point. why risk the pay day at this age? At their respective ages beating up a bum wont help.

Ajagba is the closest stylistically, he has a good ranking and it's a decent fight. If Fury wants the best prep for Joshua, it would be Ajagba, who Fury has previously sparred.

If Fury wants more of a carnival fight, Andy Ruiz fits the bill.

Maybe a rematch with Wallin, at least you could do the "well, the first fight was sorta controversial" angle. Would prefer no other tune-up fight though.

We should hear something soon if they're looking for a July date.

A live body for one of the few times in his career would be nice.

Some people spend their whole lives tuning up and want to get paid for boxercising.
