    I love Ioka dearly, but the man has been shot to smithereens for the last 5 years. Lost to Martinez twice, the Franco was far too close, and the Cintron, Chihuas and Fukunaga matches should've been draws. His last truly prime win was against Kosei Tanaka. Combine that with Takuma hitting his prime, the deck was stacked against him.

    inoue will need to improve his inside fighting if he ever gets a fight vs bam. i think it could be entertaining and it would add an additional storyline and build hype to an eventual naoya-bam showdown.

    Takuma showing that he’s a great fighter in his own right. Terrific performance from him against a fighter like Ioka. He may not have his brother’s power but he surely has the speed and skills that makes him elite.

    Ioka has had a great career. Despite not having the chance to face Chocolatito or Gallo in his prime he’s had his share of facing good competition.
