In recent years, which losing performances do you admire?

    we usually admire the winner but i think the runner up should sometimes get credit for their stellar effort. It takes 2 fighters to make a great fight.

    Wilder vs Fury 3 is a great example of immense effort and heart.

    Breidis vs Usyk is a brilliant performance by Mairis and he pushed Usyk arguably harder than anyone. His right hand was on fire.

    Nakatani vs Inoue is a great effort by Nakatani, at least in the second half.

    He had no business going the distance and getting a split decision with one eye for 10 rounds. Would have killed him if not for the cut.

    Liam Wilson against Navarrette he had Navarrette finished but the referee saved him there was also the shenanigans with the scales at the weigh in.

    Povetkin did pretty well against Joshua, considering his stage of career and his physical disadvantage.

    Ortiz against Wilder in both fights too.

    Just recently Sam Eggington put on a valiant effort against Conah Walker.

    Most people like to give AJ and Tyson Fury crap but you have to respect their losing efforts against Oleksandr Usyk.
