Eggington is fading. Mouth gaping open throughout that round, I fancy Walker to get a late stoppage.

Good turnaround Walker but he can’t have many more like this in him.

 

Great fight. Should see more of them.

Eggington is a legend for all his great fights he’s gave us. Getting behind the jab looked like it was going to see him take control again.

That Walker did well in the end but he ain’t for me. Don’t see the hype. He’ll get knocked out when he steps up.

 

There isn't that much hype. He's had a run of good wins but I don't think anyone believes he's genuine world class.

 

Cool. Good to see good domestic scraps anyway. They’re always the best, especially when Eggington is around.

 

Walker v Benn is a great fight not a chance in hell Conor takes that

 

I can’t stand Benn but to be fair why would he? Nobody knows Walker and he has nothing to offer.

 

Another fight of the year contender from Egginton, no denying he’s arguably been the best value-for-money fighter around in recent years.

Wasn’t overly impressed with Conah if I’m honest. Liam Smith showed years ago the limitations of Sam at the higher level, and if that’s where you want to get to, you can’t keep getting dragged into those kinds of wars.

Feels like Walker gets knocked out the moment he steps in with genuine world-class. Could end up going down a similar route to Eggington in that respect - plenty of good fights out there, and to be fair he’s earned a shot, maybe even a rematch with Crocker.

Can’t see him troubling Benn, think Benn outboxes him pretty comfortably. Same with Paddy Donovan, although Paddy looks like he’s being thrown to the wolves with his next fight.

 

I agree but I think he's not far off benns level, be a good little scrap

 

There's been a bit of history being re-written over the first Walker v Crocker fight. I was in the press seats for that one (sitting directly in front of Steve Bunce, if anyone's interested) and the overwhelming consensus was Crocker by a point or two.

 

Eggington guarantees entertainment. There's not many like him around anymore.
