Who cares? Kilo for Kilo is a silly concept introduced because there is the heavyweight champion and then there's the rest. Inoue would be planted by Dave Allen lol

Inoue is an ATG and one of the best of this generation. However he’s not a top 10 ATG guy, Usyk is arguably top 3. While Inoue is an absolute beast who I love watching, Usyk is just a tier above. No shame in that. I don’t think anyone in the next 30 years will match what he’s done.

Neither Usyk or Inoue are top 10 ATGs as their careers stand today.

Usyk as a top 3 ATG is a wild take aswell to say the least.

Usyk wouldn't even be in my top 20 and neither would Inoue for that matter.

But based on what both fighters have done recently Inoue is the clear P4P number 1 right now.

Usyk has to beat another top Heavyweight to catch up again.

Rightly so. I'm glad Inoue is finally being recognized as THE top fighter P4P. He paid his dues, stayed active when no other champions bothered to fight more than once a year, and fought all the best fighters put in front of him. No one should complain about his number 1 spot.

Obviously not considering my I.Q. score. So what else could it be?

Can't complain, as much as I rate Uysk highly, it's of his own doing dropping down

Not that i reckon he cares one bit

It's pound for pound not kilo for kilo ffs, the two things are entirely different!

Imagine having a glass for glass drinking session instead of a pint for pint, very ghey.

Speaking as a fan of both albeit Usyk is my favourite, I don't have a problem with Inoue being #1 now or anyone having him #1 and I get the argument for having him so. I think they both deserve to be #1 for different reasons and you can make a strong case for both

But one thing I will say Usyk being #1 or #2 at his age when already long past his prime and even more impressive doing it the way he's gone about doing it is crazy impressive

Winning all his fights via the application of pure skill, clean boxing with zero deck-stacking and use of illegal and dirty tactics

The huge size disadvantage he's been at up at HW

The murderer's row of savage punchers/KO artists and legit bangers he's fought and, again, even more impressive him never having been dropped, badly hurt, or even in any danger of being so by a head shot despite that

To be able to say all that about any fighter in history is extremely rare if not completely unheard of

And I believe he's the 2nd oldest fighter ever since P4P was a thing to be ranked P4P#1 only behind B-Hop who was ranked P4P#1 at 40 y/o

I also think even at 39 y/o he >> Inoue in terms of skills and chin, let alone prime Usyk.

That's logical Inoue was against the official second best of the Super Bantamweight undefeated in 30 fights, three weight classes world champion and he beat him

At the same moment Usyk will fight someone who is not ranked and not even a boxer but a kickboxer....
