At such a young age, had Benavidez proven to be in the same class as Moore, Ward, and Ezzard Charles

Zurdo was the number 2 fighter in the division. Plant was top 3. The rest ducked him.

I agree with what some people are saying here. Benavidez should have stuck around in each of his weight classes and tried to become unified / undisputed. I think he should focus on becoming undisputed at CW before moving up to HW. Usyk isn't probably going to fight him. If he did it would probably come after his next 3 or 4 fights (if he decides to fight that long). It would be a hell of a draw if Benavidez can become undisputed at CW because I think Usyk would be interested in that.

Oakland Ward is the textbook definition of a hometown fighter lol... The antithesis of a road warrior. Also a very dirty fighter who should have disqualified on more than one occasion. Kovalev clearly edged him in the first fight, and the vast majority of the press had him losing. Ward won due to politics and corruption nothing more.

Ezzard Charles has the worst resume in boxing history. Zero wins that compare to Caleb Plant and Demetrius Andrade.

Ward had no real fan support outside of the Bay Area. Particularly Oakland. Other than that region, American fans could give a rats behind because he wasn't a popular champion.
No one fights in the Ukraine dude. That's why they had to come to America like everyone else does besides the English. But Usyk and Lomachenko don't have any kind of unfair advantage fighting in the US. That is nonsense. The most hyped fighters of the last 20 years have been Eastern Europeans. Americans love them.

Canelo derailed David's career path for years. If he had given him his shot, David would have been undisputed at 168 by age 26 and had an ATG on his resume already. Instead he had to take a detour and spend a few more years building his legacy and path to greatness. Bivol has also delayed things, but hopefully he gives him his chance. David is 1 win away from greatness.

Eastern European boxers have often been robbed fighting in the USA, as have Filipino boxers, African boxers, Mexican boxers, and South American boxers.

If you were a boxing judge, no American boxer would ever lose a decision.

Lol almost every prominent Eastern European boxer was robbed in the US that includes Golovkin, Kovalev, Lomachenko, Derevyanchenko, Korobov, Golota etc. Pirog was behind on all scorecards before knocking out Jacobs. The only reason Usyk wasn't robbed is because there wasn't any big name American cruiserweight or heavyweight he could have faced.

The man went up to fight Zurdo, let’s stop acting like he went to 200lbs and went straight after the top dog.

The man went up from 168lbs and defeated Gvozdyk Morrell and Yarde, let’s stop acting like he defeated Bivol or Beterbiev.

The manoeuvring through the divisions has been great, getting the titles without beating the best, exactly how most do it in the lower weights then claim 3 weight champ also. Not a problem with him doing that but let’s stop acting like he’s knocking off the king at each division.

Still didn’t beat the king at 168 either, regardless how hard he tried.

None of those guys were robbed in favor of an American fighter though. When close fights don’t go your way, you all talk about a robbery and stick to it.

Not remotely accurate. Benny doesn't have 1 solid opponent. Not a single one. Yet. Not all his own doing but I'll reserve judgement until then

GGG robbed by Canelo, Mexican American

    Loma robbed by Haney, American

    Kovalev robbed by Ward, American

    Fury robbed by Wilder, American

The E Europeans get robbed by Americans all the time.
