I think both Chris Byrd and Simon Brown both fought friends but I can't remember who. Maybe Maurice Blocker and Jamal Mcline?

Maurice Blocker fought Simon Brown. They were longtime friends and sparring partners who started out at the same gym in DC.

Raul Marquez-Skipper Kelp. They fought on Tuesday night fights, and they were unable to produce a serious staredown to start the telecast due to each of them laughing.

Chris Byrd fought DaVarryl Williamson. They were friends. On the broadcast they were talking about having their purses seized because they weren't engaging.

Calzaghe and Richie Woodhall were good friends.. I'm led to believe Woodhall stopped Calzaghe from eating a shard of glass that was in some ice cream at a meal they were at

    Good thread
Trinidad's right hand: known for the left hook, but his straight right did a lot of damage too. He even threw it very short like a jab at times and it would snap heads back
Oscar's right hand: it was criticized at times, but he was able to rock and drop opponents with it periodically.
Floyd's jab to the body: real fans of boxing know how effective it is, but I wish mainstream fans and announcers gave it more credit.
James Toney's jab: sometimes he flicked it, other times it was like a Laser and he was very intentional about using it to accumulate damage. He had a very educated jab.

Sugar Ray Robinson had a opponent pull out in arly 1950 on him so the promoter had to quickly find an opponent, who was also black as the law at the time in the South prohibited fair fights between races and they found him in retired always in need for a buck Murderer s Row member Aaron "Tiger" Wade.
Wade had long been a sparring partner for Ray.
He as quickly crushed,in a fixed fight as he as paid to go down in 3 rounds for a couple hundred dollars.Robinson was not in on it.
Wade had hasked to go 5-6 rounds. He was turned down.
