Murtzaliev after he beat Tszyu. He thought he was hot **** th way he was talking and acting in interviews. Lost his very next fight to Josh Kelly. Danny Green after he beat an over the hill Roy Jones.
Hashim Rahman after the first Lewis fight. I don’t remember the exact numbers but HBO offered him a big contract but he declined because he thought he could get more after he beat Lewis a second time…
Ricardo Mayorga really held on to those two wins against Vernon Forrest to the point that he really believed that he could have stopped guys like Trinidad, ODLH, Mosley, Cotto. Most recently Teofimo Lopez going into his fight with Kambosos. Really let his win over Lomachenko get to his head when he thought that he deserved more than what he’s actually worth.
Teo thought he could walk through Kambosos, and instead got put on his ass in round 1. Teo is never this aggressive in the first round, and he paid for it dearly.
Good to have you back aboard Mr Goodbot and firing on all cylinders. The forum was heavy through your absence and we wish you well on future endeavours.
Your kind words move me most profoundly, my dear friend. I return refreshed and fortified, ready for whatever future endeavours await us.
Andy Ruiz. Could have been very successful after that AJ fight but chose to eat himself stupid and live it up. Hard to blame him all the same
My Grandfather said Ingemar Johansson was full of himself after defeating Floyd Patterson, until Patterson left Ingo twitching and unconscious in their second fight.
