That was a hard watch at the end but I’ve never seen a better chin than Wardleys. He took some monster shots that no other fighter takes imo.

 

Wardley is as hard as nails. But Ben Davidson has gone down in my book. He should not have let him go out in that final round, or maybe even the round before it. This kind of punishment will have a lasting effect on is health.

Boxercise should have his license revoked. Disgraceful

 

Mate he got scrambled on the top of the head in ten seconds. A guy with questionable heart would have folded. The Joyce fight is ridiculously unfair. He had a serious eye injury.

 

I won't be watching that again. It's difficult to defend boxing after those last rounds.

 

Great fight, fight of the year. Dubois just doesn't seem to have that killer instinct, he boxed a great fight but he can be so much more. Wardley what a fighter he is he got hit with everything in there tonight and his corner should have had him out long before the stoppage, I get he's the champion but get him out there and let him have another go later on in the year. Don't think he will box again and I hope he fully recovers from that 1 sided beatdown.

 

Absolutely disgraceful.

Wardley could barely walk and he was shouting ‘conditioning’ at him.

 

As I said, his determination is conditional. How can you even disagree that it is not? When he feels he can't win, he doesn't give it his all.

Many boxers know they're getting a pasting and they still keep plodding on. He doesn't and won't in future either.

 

He is normally quite quick with the towell as well

 

Dubois v Itauma?

 

That was utterly unbelievable, like something you see on a film. Wardley stumbling out for round 9 (I think?) was very uncomfortable and that's where Davison should have taken him out

 

Itauma must fancy his chances. I'd take him all day over Dubois.

 

We’ll just leave it at that. How can you question his will to win and where are you getting it from? Usyk 2? He believed he KO’d him in the first fight with a body shot. Just because he got outclassed by the best HW in the world doesn’t mean he quit or showed no heart. He had a number of opportunities to fold tonight and outfought Wardley.
