Has Dubois now got a Better Resume than Fury, Joshua & Wilder

All the evidence points to Dubois not having it in him I'm afraid.

The fact Wardley caught him twice and put him on his backside tells me that Wlad stops him. We saw it in both Usyk fights, he throws in the towel against superior opposition when he knows his skills are outmatched....He would do the same fighting Klitschko.

Not only that but he's incredibly easy to catch as Wardley, an incredibly limited fighter compared to Klitschko, proved tonight.

Joyce hurt him, Hrgovic hurt him, Miller hurt him.....Even a completely finished Joshua hurt him. It's not a good recipe for a fight with the vastly experienced Klitschko.

 

I don't doubt that Wlad could catch him with the right hand, I'm sure it would be a tough fight for Dubois but an old Wlad is not as good as you're rating him to be. I'm a big fan of Wlad's skills but he showed his age somewhat in that fight against AJ and he wasn't as sharp and elusive as he was in his prime. A person with Dubois' athleticism and workrate would absolutely find him and I think Dubois would take over the fight as the rounds went on (would absolutely have to fight through adversity to do so).

Prime Wlad is a different question altogether and I think he blasts out Dubois, but a 41 year old Wlad? If he couldn't take out AJ when he had him ready to go in that fight, I'm not sure that he would do so to Dubois.

 

Yeah gotta agree here. I'd also back a motivated AJ to beat Dubios in a rematch (though I think that ship sailed when he chose to fight Jake Paul).

 

That version of Joshua was way different to the one which fought Dubois though.

Say what you want about Joshua, but he was extremely confident then and still believed he was much better than he was at that point. I think his fight with Dillian Whyte was similar to the level of Wardley tonight, and Whyte didn't put Joshua down twice.

 

Dubois has better wins than Joshua as his best wins are against opponents in their prime...

 

I think what Dubois lacks is that one really outstanding win.

Fury had it with Wlad and Wilder. They were both huge names and in top form when he beat them.

Dubois has some decent names but he didn’t fight them all at the best times. Miller had a 4 year absence from the sport. Hrgovic’s stock dropped a bit after the Zhang fight.

AJ is probably his biggest win but we don’t really know where AJ is currently. His victories in the last 2 years have been Jake Paul and Ngannou.

He also wasn’t as impressive against Usyk as Fury was. I think that’s why he’s still not getting too much hype

 

Only an AJ fan would imagine such a thing

 

Dubois resume is better than Wilder's but not as good as Joshua's or Fury's resume.

 

Joshua is Dubois's best win and he wasn't in his prime.

 

AJ is also a bum. Just one with a better resume. Try again.

 

Fury lost to McDermott and Ngannou.

 

Joshua's resume of faded guys in favorable matchups at home gets so much hype, it's hilarious. Is it not now readily apparent that it was all carefully calculated and still blew up over and over?

 

Dubois has won two heavyweight title fights (one WBO, one IBF) and he was stopped for the British Title.

Deontay won 11 WBC title fights.

Not remotely close.

 

Not yet, I think Dubois will get some more top 10 wins to his name but also will have some poor loses due to style matching not being in his favour. Will have to see how it plays out when it’s all said and done.
