Fabio Wardley vs. Daniel Dubois & Jack Rafferty vs. Ekow Essuman + David Morrell vs. Zak Chelli RBR.

Just watched the highlights, Fabio tough.
Still not really impressed with Lenny Dubois, Itauma is light years better than him. Lenny has no chance

 

Both Huni and Parker against Wardley as an example. It's the obvious disconnect on the quality of the stoppages that really causes the ire. Huni and Parker were both a bit dazed, but the comparison between their state and Wardley is really quite ridiculous at the time of all 3 stoppages

This is a pretty accurate depiction of the last rounds in the fight.

 

I'm still not totally sold on Dubois.

Yeah he did show some heart overcoming 2 knockdowns.

But the 1st knockdown was a flash knockdown right at the start of the fight.

The 2nd knockdown he voluntarily took a knee.

Dubois wasn't hit that often against Wardley who kept swinging for the fences and missing all night long.

Let's see Dubois in there with fighters like Kabayel who would be constantly pressuring him and hitting him to the body.

Or getting hit consistently by Itauma a fast hard hitting southpaw and Dubois has alot of trouble vs southpaws.

 

We should all be saying a massive thank you to both those fellas, that was pretty special & lets hope both are fit & healthy going forward.. i think that was Dubois' coming of age fight & it has to be FOTY thus far.. both hugely impressed me, it was high level stuff at times .. even tho Dubois gets his **** he can fight.. there's no doubt about that.. & Fabio Wardley has been brilliant recently. Memorable one that.

 

According to boxrec, Dubois was ahead on the scores 96-92 on all of the cards.

 

FOTY, yes, definitely.

Furys garbage fight seems mediocre in comparison.

 

Dubois made a great comeback, and despite showing some limitations he'd seen before, he boxed better than Wardley, taking his time and distance, and securing a important victory that will secure the WBO world title. Chelli's victory over Morrell will most likely be Upset of the Year.

 

Parker lost bud, just accept it.

 

The same ref in both fights. I'm just pointing out that there's an obvious bias there, and it's rather undeniable.
