Dubois has an ATG level jab

    The secret to Dubois is his jab. Completely dominated AJ and Wardley with it. Not even Wlad’s jab was that devastating or timed so well. Imo one of the reasons Usyk had an easier time with Dubois is because the jab doesn’t work as well with southpaws. But the jab makes Dubois an absolute nightmare for any heavyweight in history not named Usyk. (Talking about current Dubois not young Dubois)

    Won’t argue. He’s got a killer ramrod jab. Especially when he doubles it up.

    ATG jab ? No.

    Good jab ? Absolutely.

    There's been plenty of Heavyweights with good jabs people are quick to forget with recent bias.

    Lennox Lewis
    Sonny Liston
    George Foreman
    Wladimir Klitschko
    Pinklon Thomas
    Carl Williams
    Frank Bruno
    Bruce Seldon

    Etc.

    Nah his jab and timing is better than a lot of people on that list. Doesn’t mean he beats all of them. But people are quick to be nostalgic rather than just being honest.

    Or people are quick to be biased based off recent bias and wins.

    He was outjabbed by Joe Joyce for crying out loud 98 to 64.

    Not really. He has a good power jab, and he uses it well to back up his opponents. But it's no near Wlad's jab in terms of how it controls the fight.

    Besides, wasn't he outjabbed by both Usyk and Joe Joyce?

    Its a very strong jab but its not ATG levels...

    He was outjabbed very easily by Joyce and let alone Usyk.

    How the **** did a 40 year old Usyk beat this dude up like he’s a beginner. Like ok fine 33-35 year old Usyk I could see but an ancient one? It wasn’t even like he got bailed out Lennox vs Vitali style he schooled him.

    Good jab, no question - particularly when he's facing a guy with no jab like Fabio Wardley. But let's not overreact based on this

    He ditched his jab in the 2nd Usyk fight because Usyk would counter it. He didn't use it as much as he should in other fights also. His jab is great because it's basically a right hand for him it's that strong....a good man can take it away from him though. As Usyk did. Fury would also. And other competent men of equal size should be able to outmanoeuvre him also. Dubious is very one dimensional.

    His jab was great yesterday, but had no success vs Usyk with it to a great extent. So if it can’t land on a great fighter, is it a ATG jab

    There are levels.

    Dubois' jab is strong, but it's only above average. His jab looked great last night because Wardley is even less skilled. But when you compare his jab to that of Usyk or even Joyce, it's inferior. And let's be honest here... nobody is gonna say that Joyce has an ATG jab.

    It's a very good jab when used , but let's not get carried away lol

    Homes ,Wlad , and Lewis were master jabbers ..
