Augie Sanchez Prince naseem brutalised him. 2 fights later knocked out in 30 seconds had his license revoked.

Tim Tszyu vs Fundora 1. He did well that fight with one eye but he lost, his first of his career amd was never the same. Bahkram mauled him never the same again.

Tyson vs Douglas. Derailed his career. Never the same.

Hamed vs Barrera. Like Tyson it was his first loss. Never the same aura.

    Kostya vs Hatton. Retired him.

Hatton vs Mayweather. Beginning of the end. Once a fighter loses for the first time it can derail them.

Jones vs Tarver 2. Roy never recovered.

Holyfield vs Lewis. Old but reign was over. Should have retired then.

De La Hoya vs Trinidad. Oscar wasn't bad and arguably won this fight and one with Mosely but this fight was the start of bad things to come. Bad decisions or not his O went and many more losses followed.

Pacman vs Bradley. He lost more after this peak pacquaio was finished.

Holyfield was done before Lewis. His fights with Mike masked how shot he really was because Mike let him clinch so much.
The deteroriation was more visable when he coudln't rest and clinch vs Lewis 1

I disagree in regards to Tyson/Douglas.

It was a shocking defeat but Tyson actually regained well after that fight.

He had 2 first round stoppages over credible opponents in Alex Stewart, Henry Tillman.

And then he went on to show his toughness in two slugfests vs a very dangerous puncher in Razor Ruddock.

What derailed him was the prison sentence not so much the Douglas loss IMO.

David Tua went on to beat guys like Hasim Rahman, Michael Moorer, Shane Cameron. He was never gonna beat Lewis and Byrd just based on styles.

Ricardo Mayorga after the Trinidad fight. Maybe just a case of stepping up the class of his competition, but that same machismo of letting himself be hit with free shots didn't work out quite as well versus Tito as it did versus Vernon Forrest.
