They both hit very hard but what difference does it make.
Wardley maybe in absolute terms but his power is overblown to be on par with his chin which it isn’t

Maybe, when he can land clean on a big stiff man with no defence

What does a 13-1 man have to do with the Rock?
If Rocky gets past the size difference over two rounds , then it’s over for Dubois

Hunis beats over 50% of Marciano's victims
Marciano was knocked down by a sub 200pound 38 years old man,and a 41 yrs old188lbs one .Both gave him real wars.
He was never hit by a 240/50lbs 6ft 5 in power house,a big right hand , a good left hook, and uppercut who has a jab like a telegraph pole.
What advantages do you see for him here?
Do you envisage stamina will be an important factor in this matchup? Marciano is imo the greater fighter ,but there are weigh ins for a reason! Photos of Rocky, standing next to Ali make him look like a dwarf, Dubois is 2 inches taller than Ali and 30lbs heavier, and he hits a lot harder!

Twenty four of Marciano's opponents were under 190lbs.

Some people are just deluded here lol. Marciano is def the better and greater fighter but I really don't see how he survives against someone as big and strong as Dubois who's also pretty good as a fighter even if not the best. People around here have a huge issue where they underestimate how much size really makes a difference in a fight especially with Marciano's style which was come forward and use his pace, pressure and toughness to beat better boxers. That's not going to work well against someone like Dubois.

Rocky defeated the more skilled opponents, but they were much closer to his size and weight. I'm not sure he can wear down Dubois the way he did Charles and Walcott who were both past prime when they fought him. Rocky got dropped by a 41 year old Archie Moore, a blown up light-heavy. He might make it to the final bell but he'll look like raw hamburger and lose a wide decision. Keep in mind, Dubois will also be wearing 8 ounce gloves.

I’ve stated before men who obsess with size usually haven’t sparred many big men. I’ve sparred with men 6”6 240, 6”4 270 all the way down to shorter lighter men at 180. Hardest I’ve ever been hit was by men who weighed 190. The combo of faster with the enough weight behind made it negligible. The biggest man had very heavy hands but you often see them coming and their output is a lot lower. The weight can help with not being able to move them like you’d like but the punch power can be negligible. Why do you think Louis and Dempsey and Marciano and other men mostly ruled the division? And punched harder than Primo Willard Simon and the like? Often times the harder punch is the one you don’t see coming
