Wardley was indeed throwing wild amateur overhand rights, but like Wilder he has earned good money from doing so, though of course not as much as Wilder, whereas many boxers with good technique neither earn the big money or achieve world champion status.

I thought Dubois would win, which he did, Dubois certainly exposed Wardleys poor technique, but Wardley definitely exhibited a warrior spirit.

    Compared to Wardley
    Wilder is Sugar Ray Leonard

Wardleys story is an amazing one. The story itself cannot be overrated, but perhaps the boxer was (by some anyway). His style of limited but brutal had got him out of trouble against better and better opponents and for me it just petered out vs Dubois. As for over the hill, thats up to Fabio, if he fights again he will need to develop more than he showed last week, even with the flash knockdowns it was clear Dubois was a step up he was not fully prepared for. He has owned up to being a bit unwilling to listen to people in the past, hopefully that will change (along with some of his team who forgot to bring a towel it seems!).

He needs to sit down with his team and have an honest chat about his path moving forward.
