At Middleweight or Light Heavyweight. Slick defensive counter puncher against methodical pressure fighter. Tiger normally had trouble with fighters who were movers but Toney was someone who didn’t have the footwork to give Tiger those issues. This fight that would certainly be fought in close quarters. Can Toney beat Tiger on the inside or does Tiger manage to outwork Toney?

I think Toney is defensively too slick and has too many facets to his game for a guy like Tiger to beat. Tiger was kind of slow and I believe Toney would feast on sluggish but powerful dudes like him.

Toney on points, but Tiger could give him issues like Tiberi.

Dick Tiger vs Henry Hank is probably the closest we'll see of how well he could potentially do against someone like Toney. Amazing fight this one was.

I have to go with Toney on this one. Slicker defense and granite chin.

@Tin_Ribs This has you written all over it. You recently done that monster dive into Tiger's strengths as a fighter. It's a more winnable fight for Toney than the likes of Hagler and others who are more mobile and elusive. Not much love so far for Tiger, personally i don't think he's all that far behind in the skill game and it's certainly going the distance.

Haha, I've been looking at it John meaning to pipe up at some point. You know me too well. Yeah, I think Tiger has a much better chance than what's been painted so far if you watch both fighters and don't make idle assumptions. I can go more into depth later on
