I think Iggy would use his southpaw stance and box Dubois in circles. Briggs was a giant puncher and couldn't send over the coup de grace. Same to a lesser extent with Goofi. I would pick Iggy pretty confidently.
I think Ibragimov was pretty good even though he really doesnt have the resume to back that up. DD would try to use his size and make it ugly but I think Sultan gets the decision win.
Because Dubois is vastly better than Ray Austin, an aging, 45 lbs overweight Briggs, or a near 45 year old Holyfield. Sultan went 12 with Wlad but a fair few others did. And Wlad was content to win on a jab while not taking any risks, Dubois looks to run his opponents over (compare how they approached Joshua).
It could, but after the absolute worst start possible in round 1 he destroyed Lerena. Sultan is closer in ability to Lerena than Usyk.
Na, I definitely don't agree with that. Ibragimov had a very solid amateur career and beat multiple title holders (even tho Holy was way past it). DuBois has poor defense. Neither of those shots he took from Wardley should have landed. Wardley is a slow plodder that doesn't set up his punches IMO. Iggy can win this.
Iggy would be a clear underdog here but past eras are always overrated on classic, hence Wlad's contenders are now considered to be seriously good fighters. Wlad flattered Iggy by taking him the distance, he could have punched holes in him and Dubois probably would. Dubois is far better than 45 year old Holyfield. That Holy would lose every round to Hrgovic, get stopped by AJ, be overwhelmed by Miller. Wardley is crude but he's not slow. He beat Parker and Parker is no worse than Iggy.
