I know that AJ is the money fight but it’s not a great one for legacy. Even if Fury wins that, he won’t get much credit anyways. AJ is shot etc. Got beaten by Dubois. Dubois is a fight with much more upside. He battered AJ and Wardley and beat Hrgovic also. I think Fury has all the physical and technical skills needed to beat him as well although it’s obviously a dangerous fight. If he won, it’s also a fight that would age well. Given Dubois’s age and ability, he’s likely going to get many more big wins so it would be good on the resume. If I was him, I’d be more interested in Dubois than AJ
Always thought this would be quite an interesting affair from press to fight. Complete polar opposites in ring and out, but it’s all wrong for Frank from a business sense.
If Fury beats AJ and is going to continue boxing, would be a god fight to make. I don't care to see either Fury, AJ, or Dubois in the ring with Usyk again.
I am never against two top 10 fighters facing each other regardless of situation or weight class. it would be a great fight to watch.
I think it's the perfect fight for Fury to take. It'll likely happen after AJ though as I imagine Frank wants to feed Dubios to Itauma if he gets past Hrgovic
Fury will get credit from casuals for beating AJ and that'll be OK with him The Dubois fight is unlikely
What would be the point other than if it’s financially beneficial for both. Usyk victims having a mini tournament to be what? Only reason any of these fights would make sense for Fury, AJ or Dubois what be for their pension fund into retirement. As if they need more money. As Larry Holmes once said. “To Cut a long story short. M O N E Y. Their legacies are pretty much sealed. Fights too many years late.
AJ has shown that he doesnt want the fight at all - sitting there like a church mouse in Tottenham & scurrying off to fight 9th ranked albanian Pringle. If i’m Fury, I roll the dice one more time & fight DDD
