What about " I didn't get knocked out I just didn't beat the count!" Or Hasim should change his name to "has been" Rahman!!! Lol.

Humble? Ever listen to Lennox Lewis speak? He was often pretty arrogant. Mind you, not unearned, he was legitimately the best of his generation, he had a right to be proud of that. Still does. Use a Time Machine and drop a prime Lennox Lewis into today’s division and everybody except Usyk is ****ed, and Usyk is in for a rough night (even if he does win).

I think Usyk beats Lewis when it comes to being humble. Wlad was very humble too and didn't have arrogant moments Lewis had. Nothing wrong with being arrogant as the champion if you can back up the talk tho. You have a right to be arrogant when you're great. Ali is a best example of it.

Usyk turns almost every serious question into a joke, or downplays the meaning of the question. He hardly ever gives out a serious response, and he also likes to praise others.
He quite literally could not be more humble, without looking disingenuous doing so.

Lewis wasn't humble at all he was quite arrogant actually.

But I think pretty much most top Heavyweights were arrogant you need that self belief and F you attitude to be the best.

The only real top Heavyweight I've seen that appears humble in interviews is Usyk.

But deep down do you really think Usyk believes all these past Heavyweights would beat him ? or that he believes they were better than him ? Of course not.

You don't achieve what Usyk has done without a bit of arrogance, strong will, and a F you attitude.

I know he doesn't show it but trust me Usyk deep down believes he could beat any Heavyweight past or present and that he is the best.

And I think you should think like that as a top level professional.

Even today Lennox sounds arrogant whether it's intentional or normal..I think it comes from a place of self belief rather than boastful ego but he is very monotone which just hides it better.

Shame he let himself get chinned by rahmen noodles and McCall ..but if he had a chin to handle that then he'd be easily in GOAT category...same way if Fury had more power he would be also.
