Hrgovic Allen

This is a terrible bit of matchmaking in my opinion. Makes to be an awful fight and an awful match up for Allen. Hrgovic is levels above but not a concussive puncher and fights to the level of the opponent. He’ll be able to outbox Allen who is usually very low output and won’t be able to hurt Hrgovic. Utterly pointless.

As brutal as it sounds, someone like Zhang would be a better match for Allen, because he could actually win. Zhang tires and Allen can work body. He can’t win this fight and hopefully comes out of it ok.

I like Dave, he’s appears to be a good egg and actually an interesting pundit. But this is a nonsense of a fight.

Dave will have used the training as fat camp, he will plod around as usual throwing 5 punches a round landing the odd jab, but he will be a walking punching bag. I hope his corner has empathy and looks at pulling him out 3 or 4 rounds in max.

Got to give Allen his flowers for taking a fight he knew he basically had no hope in.

very likeable person seems to be one of the few boxers universally liked will continue to sell seats across the uk - unfortunately for him there are levels in boxing which was clear tonight.
