Best version of McGregor beats him but it can be hard to gauge where you're at with him when he's always switching trainers and has spells of inactivity

 

Had to double check this was Lee, pretty crazy how his career has panned out in recent years. Once upon a time training alongside Taylor he was seen as the second coming - unbeaten British, Commonwealth and European champion at bantamweight, then it all just seemed to go wrong.

Collins showed he was no featherweight, and now he’s basically weighing in at lightweight. Just feels like he’s ended up way above his natural weight. Has to be considered an upset if McGregor wins here?

Might have a small double on him and Allen, gives me something nostalgic to root for at least.

Some first round that. McGregor can’t seem to move Gomez at all, yet Gomez had Lee rattled as soon as it switched. Can’t see this going beyond halfway at this pace.

 

McGregor was on the table next to me in Nando’s a couple of months ago.

Don’t think he has the power to make a dent in Gomez here. Hope I’m wrong.

 

3-1 Gomez for me. McGregor starting to take some punishment now, Nelson should probably be thinking about pulling him here.

What on earth happened to McGregor. He was on the cusp of a world title at bantamweight a few years ago and now he’s getting busted up by a crap Michael Gomez at lightweight.

 

He’s horrible.
