Decent overall from Hrgovic, did the job as expected with no hiccups at all

Just stupid matchmaking from Matchroom and ridiculous of Eddie to ever let Dave Allen think he had a chance of competing against someone of Hrgovic's calibre

 

At least we get Hrgovic vs Itauma now.

 

Crazy how easily Hrgovic gets cut.

He needs the money. That's how this sport, prize fighting, works.

Allen deserves way more respect than mayweather. Being mayweather and getting into the ring to make millions while not being touched is very easy. Being Allen and getting into the ring to be pummeled by hrgovic for a couple of thousands is not that easy, imho.

 

Awful matchmaking. What on Earth were they thinking?

Allen blocked everything with his head. At a certain level he is fun to watch, but no one is doing him favours with fights like this.

 

I'll be honest I like both Itauma and Hrgovic so I'm not sure I want to see Hrgovic's career potentially end from the punishment Itauma might give him. His chin is granite but Itauma seems to have chin-ruining power, and Hrgovic's defense is abysmal.

 

Crazy thing is at least on paper this was less of a mismatch than Usyk vs Verhoeven
