Well done Jamie Moore but I’d be embarrassed to be associated with him after that.

Now he'll fight at British level.

Mismatch but good little earner for Allen.

The matchmakers and promoters have to take responsibility for that. I’d like to know what the game plan and the perceived key to victory was from Moore and Allen.

 

Allen needed to be in there to take some punishment, get pulled out and pick up his big paycheck, job done.

Anyone know how much tickets cost for this to go watch in person?

 

Who sanctioned that fight. Allens going to end up brain damaged listening to these promters.

Still say Hrgovic is a moron. He could genuinely be a top fighter...if he,d only vary the speed of his punches. Needs to stop throwing big every time.

 

Can't think of too many worse heavyweight performances from a headline fighter.

Sure, there were always levels between them, but thought Allen might have some kind of gameplan to unsettle Hrgovic. Instead we got overhand rights thrown from Mars.

That's worse than Whyte vs Fury. At least Whyte tried to make the fight scrappy and came out southpaw against Fury.

Sorry for everyone who paid for a ticket there, especially outdoors on a dismal evening.

 

Please, please can Dave Allen stop being talked about as some Rocky character who just needs one break? He's a nice guy, he'd make a good analyst but he's strictly Area level.

Utterly embarrassing matchmaking, bordering on disgraceful. I said this pre fight on another post, so its not aftertiming.

Allen could not win that fight. It was just a matter of how he lost. Hrgovic is a good boxer, has a good chin - there is nothing Allen can do. He could land his best shot clean and it wouldn’t stop Hrgovic.

Thankfully that it got stopped early, so Allen didn’t need to take a beating.

I would guess take hgrovic into the later rounds where he does gas-im not sure from there though

Disappointing show from Allen there, just happy to be a punch bag by looks of it, Adam smith and co giddy with hgrovic but I thought he looked slow as **** in there, the fact Allen was so bad made it look much better than it was but you can only beat what’s in front of you I suppose

Dave might have had a chance when it was Sam Sexton and Gary Cornish fighting for the British title not who we have now.
