Of course, but as I stated before the fight. Filip has always showed up and put in a half assed lackasical effort, even with gimmes. But he showed up with malice on his mind, like he was insulted to even be fighting Allen. Hopefully this disdainful rage will carry over to being tossed in with an unproven hypejob.

I'm surprised that Makhmudov's punches, which are noticeably harder than Hrgovic's, failed to stop Allen, Hrgovic somehow managed to do it...

Simple, it's all a timing thing, Allen was facing a skittish Makhmudov coming off of several humiliating losses, who didn't want to commit to his punches, gas himself out and risk getting KO'd late. Hrgovic came in confident, with a fire lit under his ass.

Why ? You should want to see new talent evolve and develop for the future of the division.

Usyk is nearing age 40 and is coming towards the end of his career.

Joshua & Fury probably don't have long left.

I don't understand why anyone would want an exciting young Heavyweight to fail when alot of the Heavyweights now are in the mid 30s and above.

    We need new talent.

Because he has the personality of a ****ing mollusk? Personality goes a long way, look at Dave Allen. Moses has the personality of a catatonic stroke victim mixed with a smug over it zoomer. He's not easy to root for.

I feel like Hrgovic always fights like this. Starts fast, nice quick hands and 1-2s, but can then struggle down the stretch. Obviously here he basically had a punch bag in front of him so it's much smoother and more comfortable than the likes of Dubois, Joyce, Zhang etc.

I actually think Hrgovic should learn to pace himself better if anything.

I don't really care about personalities as long as the fighters are doing their jobs in the ring.

Of course everyone has favourites who you root for more than others.

But with the potential Itauma possibly has in regards to the eye test inside the ring.

Why would people like to see him get destroyed ? Having new exciting talent is what the division needs.

I don't think Itauma is that bad outside the ring.

Yeah his personality is boring but i'd rather have a boring personality who fights in a exciting way.

Rather than a loud mouth who puts on boring fights.

Moses will blast Hrg out. Crazy how he is only 21 and one of the most promising and exciting HWs in years and people on this boxing site will just crap on him. According to those on this forum every fighter is horrible and a hype job.

Because Hrgovic is a far better boxer and FAR more accurate? He’d batter Makhmudov too.

I don’t think he’s at the very top. He isn’t. But he’s close. Makhmudov ain’t. It just shows the vast gulf between world class and domestic level. Re-watch and notice all the little things Hrgovic does that are effective, in addition to just knowing how to impose himself on a smaller dude.

Because passionless bores are not exciting? Nothing about any match of his that I've seen fills me with enthusiasm. He's a can crusher with a big punch. There's nothing whatsoever that's dazzling about him, he's a by the numbers rudimentary southpaw with decent speed. Also, hype becomes annoying very quickly, especially when the hyped are getting more credit than they deserve by silly overly enthusiastic fanboys who get boners from KO's. So combine an obnoxious unlikable fanbase with a dull personality, and boring in ring style. Why would anyone want to root for that?

I don’t. I think Moses is the real deal and likely the biggest talent since, take your pick, Ali/Lewis/Tyson/Usyk. Possibly the biggest talent ever.

he has to prove that. But damn does he look the goods. He got **** on for being awkward in a couple interviews? He’s gen-z. These kids have zero social skills. His awkwardness is 100% normal for his generation.

my wife is a high school teacher. The “cool” kind the kids like. You should hear what she has to say about many of them. They are socially stunted, badly. They can’t do normal things. She tries to give them a movie day, they can’t even sit and watch a movie, because their attention span is about 14 seconds.
