Itauma is offensively skilled, athletic there's not question about it. But I get a feeling he's not going to know what to do when an opponent takes all of his best shots and takes him deep. He's so used to everyone falling over and providing limited resistance. We've seen this time and time again especially with fighters out the UK(and especially HWs) being hyped as unbeatable only to completely implode when the opponent deviates from the script.

Age shouldn't matter if you're exceptional AND ranked. He should be fighting equally ranked fighters instead of bums, washed fighters and old men. Ranks are there for a reason. All fighters, ESPECIALLY ranked fighters should be fighting equivalent competition. Why should anyone watch this sport if you already know the outcome? People constantly say he's the future and could already beat anyone in the top 10 but hasn't fought anyone remotely close to that. I think his fanboys and his promoters fear he'll get exposed and don't want the gravy train to be derailed. It's pathetic if they really believe he's as good as they say.

Usyk destroying the British control of the heavyweight division has done untold mental damage to the people of that island. The keep hyping up anyone remotely good at heavyweight to cope with the anguish of losing. Watch how they always bring up American heavyweights when you point this out. They're broadcasting their own insecurity. Jung would have a field day with them haha.

What are you even on about ?

I don't even expect Usyk or Itauma to even fight ?

You really think because I see some potential in Itauma I'm hoping for Usyk's downfall ?

Are you for real right now ? You really think I'm like that ?

Don't understand why you're being so defensive about someone rooting against MI.
On the way up Joe Louis lost to Max Schmeling by KO. Joe ended up having a pretty good career :D

If Filip beats Moses, especially if competitive, it will hardly ruin Moses career. Likely just slow the progression... unless he deals with losses and adversity poorly. If the latter, he'll be found out sooner or later.

Yeah, real thick, like I predicted Usyk would beat the brakes off of AJ and Fury and become lineal champion, a decade before he did! Or when I picked Joyce to derail Dubois! Or when I picked Saunders to derail Eubank Jr! Or when I picked pretty much every Mexican to date that's derailed a Brit hypejob, to derail the Brit hypejob!

I predicted Usyk to beat Fury and AJ, do I get a pat on the back?

To suggest that Moses isn't exciting shows you are completely talking out of your ass, he has been electric so far, time will tell if he is good enough to beat the best in the division but he hasn't put a foot wrong so far.

It's pretty obvious that you're an Usyk hater, you're not all that good at hiding it. As far as Itauma goes, it's just you Brits getting your hopes up that you have the heir apparent. You're all quite bitter about the vicious emasculation ritual Usyk has put you all through.:sisi1 I'm just ****ing with you, obviously I like you and many of the Brits on here. But you guys are ****ing delusional to the point of being incorrigible when it comes to the Heavyweight division.

Not a decade out when he turned pro!

Moses IS NOT EXCITING! He's bland beyond words. AJ and Dubois already did what he's doing, only better.

Chris I don't dislike Usyk at all.

My only issue with Usyk is the fact he don't fight often enough.

It's frustrating because I want to see Usyk in more notable fights before he retires.

I'm not even really thinking of Itauma vs Usyk TBH because that's so far away IMO and I don't even think it will happen.

I'd rather Usyk just retire before he gets too old I'd like to see him not ruin his legacy like alot of greats have done in the past.

But i just want to see Itauma in with a legit top 10 Heavyweight. He now has the opportunity against Hrgovic so we'll see what he's made of.

I think some posters above are being too critical of Hrgović.
He has the disadvantage of being from a small SE Europeon nation.
He's fought some top HWs and won. He's only lost to Dubois* on cuts, a fight he was winning early before sustaining the cuts.
Yeah, he looks underwhelming at times. Don't quite understand the heavy criticism by some. Boxing fans are so fickle.

    * Who's becoming the darling of the HW div. w/his wins vs. AJ & Wardley, and hold a HW title. Almost forgetting that sandwhiched between those two wins was his 2d loss to former CW, late 30s Usyk ! DD has lost 3X but he's doing well at the moment.

I'd like to believe that, but I have a hard time buying it. There's just far too much evidence of you always going against him, like the silliness on the Usyk P4P thread. Why begrudge Usyk at this point? He's basically cleaned out the division. He has nothing left to prove, so if he wants to spend the rest of his days as a pro making as much cash as he can. Good for him! Who are the actual threats? I love Kabayel, and think he might pose Usyk a few problems early, but the match will end up resembling Usyk-Chisora. Itauma hasn't earned anything. Everyone was banking on Wardley until Dubois violently burst that bubble, like I predicted he would. Not that Wardley ever stood a chance in hell of derailing Usyk to begin with. Like you, I do wish Usyk would just retire, it seems like he's keen on training, like with AJ. Maybe he can parlay that into a post fight career. Regardless, Itauma just isn't it. This happens all of the time, with hopes and dreams being attached to someone who is thoroughly unproven. Trust me here, if anything, I'm pretty ****ing good at reading the worth of Heavyweights. He's gone the distance twice with tough journeymen, Franklin lasted longer than even I expected him to. Sure, maybe Itauma will pick up a strap, but he's inherited a shell of a division which has been cleaned out. So his accomplishments will pale in comparison, and his current resume is embarrassing.
