An example of a fighter winning a big fight and then falling away by the wayside... Whom/ which fighter cashed in a big win?... Only to let it go to spoils? Like they were the talk of town over a great win but did nothing with it?? Imo Chris George who beat the heck out of Chris Byrd at Lt heavy weight was a prime example. In his next fight he was in the ring acting like he could weather any storm, dude was putting the offence on him and hitting him. But he kept shrugging it off because in his mind he was ripe for heating Chris Byrd, it wént to his head... So what I'm saying basically is that chris George never had the funk/ goods/ tools, he simply outclassed a weight drained Chris Byrd. My second choice would be the clones colossus, kevin McBride. C'mon man he shoulda followed up that Mike Tyson win with a bunch of great matchmaking... He coulda took on handpicked opponents, stay relevant for kicking iron Mike's butt, and getting paid thru it all. I don't think he used the momentum correctly . In terms of match making , who did he fight? And lastly this man has lots of skills AND was promoted properly!! His name is Riddick bowe. He had a great promoter at the time rock Newman. Rock put Riddick on the world tour, kissing babies, shaking army soldiers hands, show up in third world countries, and so in and do forth. This right here is maximizing the appeal to make bowe a cross over star. So if my first two on the list did nothing after their great wins, then believe me this guy, Riddick bowe did something great to stay relevant after methinks it was the Holyfield win? But yeah even if he lost the rematch after which I can't remember, it still goes to show you can put butts in the seats of a sold out crowd by the way you market yourself after a big win and careful matchmaking.
