Lewis hit him flush several times, he wasn't able to defend himself but still wasn't knocked down.

 

Nonito Donalre really needs to stop boxing. He has slowed down tremendously, he is losing to fighters, he would’ve put away even five years ago let alone 10 or 15. He took a lot of punishment directly in the face and his last fight and there’s just no reason for him to do that anymore. Obviously, I do not know what his financial situation is, but he really needs to find another way to make a living.

Yes, he is still fighting.

To be fair, Donaire was holding his own at the world level, up to this last fight. The Tsusumi fight could have easily gone to him, and at worst he lost a razor close decision to a legitimate title holder. But yea, its clear now that his day has come. Riku Masuda brutalized him, and its time to hang it up.
Or at the very least stop competing at the world level.

 

Bryant Jennings is set up for a fight. I think his time is gone. Same for Luis Ortiz and Michael Hunter. Unless they get some Saudi money in a Riad Season event, they should retire.

To answer the thread: Canelo. He's soaking up attention and returning nothing. Risk averse. Time to go. Basically the same deal as Joshua who wouldn't even fight a Makhmudov level opponent.

 

Yeah and he's fought a YouTube star and a nobody hoping for that Fury money after.

If Fury retired pretty sure Joshua would as well.
