No Yoka almost won a fight with Bakole.

Tettehs closer but his losses are to a better group of opponents.

Yeah but Bakole is only good while sparring.

Are his tickets cheap and is there actually free beer?

When i just read this and added it to how the previous Fight went, it seemed to me like he is grabbing as much of cash as he can quickly before he gets out of the sport

Is this propa's bs? I do enjoy his videos mostly, but he has some bs takes...

Bakole has a motivation problem, but he can be pretty good. The parker lucky shot doesn't change that.

And to boast about sparring, however true - in the current boxing system it is difficult enough to promote yourself when you aren't from thr select few countries that actually generate the money, that i wouldn't hold this against bakole, when we have a million loudmouths and hypejobs from the us and britain. One of the hypejobs was anderson and it was pretty obvious.

    Until bakole came along :)

    Makes sense

he wants to fight and his fight recently was stopped in the 3rd

he should either aim for a British strap or shed down to BW and try for a belt there, why not

Yes that's all good and nice to hear your experience. I've grown up working class too, and have met plenty of people with excuses as to why things aren't how they should be. Dave has done great, but his laziness, and convincing himself he's trained hard, only to come out after with excuses why he didn't, seems to be admirable to those people.

He has talked about a farewell tour, which I think is a brilliant idea. Allen has transcended boxing and become almost a folk figure, and I love to see others do well, maximise their attributes and opportunities. I wonder how a 'veterans' tour would go? Some round the country round robin with Allen, Whyte and other older fighters perhaps having week long camps in an area, sparring local talent and fighting each other with the finalists heading a night at a small arena? Football players get/used to get testimonial matches, would be a good concept for Boxers to have testimonial tours...

    Just thinking out loud...

Bakole smashed Yoka all over the ring.

wasn’t technically a stoppage? His corner threw the towel. That beating was going to get real bad but his corner stopped it from happening.
