They pretty much said that anyway, re Canelo. Well the idiots that didn’t take in to account their ages did.
Canelo is only a few months older now than Golovkin was in their first fight

People conveniently forget the Caneloweight era and Canelo ducking GGG until he started declining.

Realistically, who is he going to fight? Is it just a farewell match against someone way below his level, or is he looking to challenge a world level boxer one last time?

I dont really care for him fighting professionally. But regular 6-8 round exhibitions with 16oz gloves? Against retired fighters like martinez, cotto, people that avoided him during the years.

    Like what chavez sr does.

Just good to see them move around the ring.

If he fights again at all, it should be against in an easy apponent and it needs to be a KO at 168 to 170 lbs. It seems he wants a farewell fight in Kazakhstan, so what better way to do it. He should be retired already. He's getting inducted into the IBHOF shortly. It's a shame he was robbed of his 2 biggest wins vs Canelo.

It would be a spectacle if it was Eubank Jr because Sr recently declared so tactfully my son is shot and if he was a horse he’d be put down. Golovkin is well past his sell by date at this point and was rather chubby last time I saw a picture of him, so it kind of evens out if they’re both shopworn. If his dad finds the pen to sign the contract this time, I still expect Golovkin in shape to have way too much for a fighter of Jr’s pedigree, he was always several classes below the elite despite being very fit, determined and busy.
