Fury won that fight. Wilder won 2 rounds tops except for the KD rounds, so the worse score for Fury here is 114-112, which is how I saw it.

I thought Fury won it but I could understand a draw.

    Fury won.

You can't argue Wilder won - the card scoring it wide for Wilder was ridiculous, completely unjustifiable.

Scoring a draw is a stretch, but it's the absolute max you can go for Wilder - you shouldn't be getting two of those for the same fight, though... So the majority draw is out.

    Fury won

What is ridiculous to me is that 1 judge had it 115-111 to Wilder which means Wilder would've won the fight even without the 2 knockdowns.

So it's pretty clear 1 judge had already made their mind up prior to the fight.

Some rounds were so close Wilder could have gotten 2 additional ones. And if he gets 3 it's a draw.

Watching live I had 115-111 Fury

114-112 Fury at a stretch. To score it 113-113 even, you'd have to be very favourable to Wilder and I don't really see it

It's a perfect example of Judges lacking boxing IQ.

You can't possibly score a fight between Fury and Wilder, lasting 12 rounds and just 2 knockdowns, to Wilder. You just need to use your boxing IQ in that situation as a Judge.

There's only one possible scenario in which that is possible, and that's if Fury was injured during the fight and Wilder couldn't get him out of there.

I thought it was fairly close, but a clear win for Fury.

I think it was a legit draw in a very entertaining fight. Far from the robbery I often read it was.
The first rounds were very close. While it's true that Fury slipped plenty of Wilder's right hands, Wilder was pressing a lot and remained dangerous all along. There was some good back and forth.

    My scorecard :
    Fury - Wilder
Rd 1 : 9-10 very close but Wilder landed a bit more
Rd 2 : 10-9 very close but Fury more accurate
Rd 3 : 10-10 both had their moments
Rd 4 : 10-9 Fury slipped well and landed some good jabs
Rd 5 : 9-10 slower pace at first but Wilder landed more and good exchanges at the end
Rd 6 : 10-9 close but Fury threw more at first
Rd 7 : 10-9 very close, Wilder landed three left hooks but was stun by two good 1-2
Rd 8 : 9-10 very close with a lot of back and forth, Wilder dominated more at the start and at the end
Rd 9 : 8-10 knockdown but Wilder missed wildly after
    Rd 10 : 10-9 Fury more accurate and landed a good 1-2
Rd 11 : 10-9 Fury more accurate and slipped well
Rd 12 : 8-10 or 9-10 huge knockdown but Fury came back well at the end.

So 114-113 Wilder or 114-114 (even 114-113 Fury is easily conceivable).

It's good it turned into a draw because we got to see that fierce monster version of Fury for the 2nd bout a form which sadly didn't return.

He would have probably flopped the rematch if they gave him the nod first time.
