They straight up robbed Rico. He was so much better than anybody thought, absolutely schooled Usyk. Gets buzzed once at the end of the 11th and the ref stops it?

im honestly mad. Rico was pulling off the craziest upset since Tyson Douglas. Got utterly robbed.

Complete and total nonsense. Ref took it out of Usyks hands to finish the job in R12. Unbelievable. Should have let Rico go out on his shield. Now we're going to meet some Dutch George Fox that's going to walk around and say that the ref saved Usyk from an upset.

This is not at all how this event should have played out whatsoever.

 

Usyk actually missed with his last 2-3 punches before the ref jumped in

 

That was a despicable stoppage. Usyk may have won but he did not look good in this at all. They wanted to make sure that he didn’t lose.

 

Regardless of what you think of the stoppage, spitting the mouthguard should have resulted in a point or two being taken off. I’ve little sympathy for cheaters.

 

Let’s keep it real. Rico wasn’t surviving another 3 mins.

 

I believe Usyk would’ve taken him out in the 12th anyway Rico was badly hurt

The fight wasn’t close. Usyk got battered and the ref stepped in to save the face of boxing.

 

Stoppage didn’t really matter Usyj won 6 rounds with a KD means he would have won on the cards

 

Let the people see that then.

Not this blue balls, crap stoppage.

End him rightly in the last round without the ref ruining things.

 

Ref shouldn't have worried about the mouthguard either
