So, with Usyk guaranteed a 10-8 round had the incomplete 11th been finished, that means it would have been a MD win for him even if Verhoeven won R12 (unless Verhoeven scored a knockdown of his own)

 

Had bad feeling about this event but some saying Usyk was exposed is a bit much.. ya about as much as Floyd v McGregor then.. just a big unorthodox fella but the he got the job done .. its time to hang em up tho hes definitely slowing.. these fkin crossovers are jinxed .. I'd give them a wide berth if i were a boxer.. fair play Rico also, a top fella & athlete.

It’s just a terrible terrible stoppage whatever way you look at it, yes Usyk was throwing a lot but Rico wasn’t even that phased when the ref waved it.

 

Rico was unreal.

Hes defo on every single PED you can imagine, his gas tank was geniunely ridiculous. Hes defo threw punches non stop, moved non stop, feinted non stop…

In round 1 I thought he could keep this up for 3-4 rounds max.

 

They’ve gotta give Kabayel that fight now.

Yes Verhoeven did very well and was done by a poor bit of officiating, but Kabayel has been waiting for too long.

Give Verhoeven the Dubois fight next (that way he still gets a title fight off of the back of this great performance), and the winner fights the winner of Usyk vs Kabayel.

 

Good performance by Rico. I do however think anyone with decent punching power will make quick work of him.

 

Usyk will not clearly say he wants to fight Kabayel. Just retire now man.

He is like some menacing video game character with that imposing stance and seemingly never ending supply of stamina. I was expecting him to gas by round 9 but he was consistent, that by itself was super impressive considering he fights in five 3 minute rounds usually. He looks far too bulky but he is not a big stiff idiot. Being trained by a Fury that wouldn't be acceptable.

 

Still won so we good

 

thats where Usyk struggled imo... Fury.. AJ.. Dubois all gassed bad this guy didn't
