I had it 6-4 Rico going into the 11th. Usyk did cleaner work Rico was messy (his game plan) and his energy was on display for more of each round Usyk is fading. Would be a shame to see someone young kid KO him
BoxRec's fan scores are still coming in but there's over 100 scorers as of right now, and they have Rico averaging 98-92, with Usyk only winning rounds 4 and 10, which is exactly how I had it, and seems like that was the general overwhelming sentiment on the RBR too.
Because of the knockdown, Usyk would have been ahead on TWO of the cards after 11 rounds, with the other one even. After ten, it was even on two cards and Rico was two ahead on one card, 96-94. The scorecards were okay.
Who cares Rico got stopped in 11th, if not for british stoppage he would have stopped him in the 12th. Rico was done
I had the same score after ten rounds. After the knockdown, it would have been even after 11 rounds had it not been stopped. Whoever won the 12th would have won the fight. Usyk has better stamina always finishing strong, and Rico looked very tired in the 11th. So I expect Usyk would have won anyway.
Worth nothing that someone on here said that Usyk was ahead on the punch count, and the only unofficial count I can find says that Rico was 1 punch ahead. I know that it all depends on how things roll out, but it seems like the idea that Rico was somehow dominating...well...at least has a counter narrative.
He just lost to a kickboxer with one fight and got bailed out by a bs stoppage. He is an absolute embarrassment and his resume was just erased.
hahahha how did he lose if he floored Rico and 20 secs later he stopped him ? Legacy is based on a record , not on how some delusional fool feels.
