How does Rico fair against the rest of the Heavyweight division?

They should put Rico in there with Ajagba lol. He was good enough to give Usyk a hard night so someone like Ajagba should be no problem right ?

 

I say put him in with a top 15 guy on turki card and if he still looks the business, get him the rematch. Fury should fight him for his tune up actually, he can settle whatever disagreement him and his uncle have.

 

Coke and weight blow up aside, Fury's greatest mistake of his career may have been not keeping his uncle as his trainer.

 

Every puncher stops him.

I honestly think this fight flattered his boxing ability. I'd have him losing to everyone in the top 10 and most in the top 20 assuming they adequately prepped for the fight.

 

Put him against Richard Torrez

 

Rico is both a better boxer and more humble man than Ngannou. Ngannou got a big head and paid the price.

 

Rico would fare the same as Ngannou,the cat is out the bag !

 

I don't like his chances against a puncher, especially AJ.

Look at the AJ V Ngannou fight.

 

Given 39+, legs gone Usyk had him badly hurt and got the stoppage, we can assume Rico is vulnerable to big punchers.

Rico has lost his element of surprise now, so he is significantly less dangerous. There's 11 rounds of boxing footage to study, no one is going to underestimate him or look past him anymore. He's just had a punishing loss, an end to his 11 year winning streak, and he's 37. So like Ngannou vs Fury, this is likely Rico's boxing zenith.

 

He might be able to luck into a decision against Wardley. But Rico would have to stay upright to do that and that's probably not going to happen if Usyk got him.

Other than that I don't really see winnable fights at the higher levels of HW.
