What happened: Usyk badly faded or Rico much better than expected?

All these threads about Rico winning are just people showing themselves to be casuals and/or buying into the nonsense the DAZN commentators were saying.

    I think it's a combination of 3 things :

    - Rico is much much better than most of us thought
    - Usyk at almost 40 is finally beginning to slow down
    - He didn't see Rico as a huge threat so didn't train at max intensity. He was clearly heavier around the waistline than ever before.

I noticed ex-convict Peter Fury taught Rico some dirty tactics.

Usyk always does bad against strong pressure fighters with huge gas tanks that try too rough him up. The same happened with chisora and breidis.
Joshua and Fury dont have the gas tank for that kind of fight and decided to tippy toe with him and lost easily.

You are letting your emotions dictate your statement.

Rico has been undefeated over a decade an is a serious combat athlete. A serious man who has given his life to fighting. Throw in a great plan, all his sparring against professionals like Tyson Fury and you have a professional fighter, who happens to be boxing.

You comparing that to Jim Carrey shows a complete disregard for objectivity.

Bellew made a good point saying he made himself a small target despite being a huge man and was almost moving like Joe Frazier.

He definitely had the same stance as the character from me myself and Irene though

    wtf

Usyk had never had a bad night or performance ever, until last night.

He worked Chisora out after 3 rounds, and dominated him.

Breidis is an elite fighter, and Usyk clearly 7-5 beat him in a great fight and great performance.

Rico is a dog. He is a hell of an athlete, he's tough and he can take a shot. I don't understand why people are SO surprised that he did well. I didn't expect him to do this well either, but he always had a shot to make a good go of it. He played the build-up smooth and confident and it all paid off. It felt like they had to engineer a WWE stoppage to save Usyk's reputation. If it went to the cards Usyk would have won or drew, though. Either way, fun fight and Rico should have been boxing a long time ago!

Great chin on Usyk, too, but I do believe this performance will finally settle his astronomical rise within boxing history on this forum. And honestly, I'm ready for it even for how great Usyk has been. For good reason as well, Rico was beating Usyk up and Usyk was punching gloves.
