Itauma vs Torrez

Torrez wouldn’t make it out of the first round

 

Call me crazy, but I still think Itauma's a better stylistic matchup for Torrez.

He's got a better win on his record too (Vianello).

But yeah, Itauma would be a huge favorite now.

torrez looked terrible. he hasnt progressed at all. maybe this is just his ceiling. just not a good boxer. not good enough to compete with real talent at least.

 

The head movement is almost non existent and the feet placement were all wrong

Thought he was ready for this step up fight but obviously not

 

Torrez must owe you money because you must want him to get hurt. Itauma would eat him up. He is too quick, too powerful and too athletic. Itauma wins in no more than three rounds.

One thing about Torrez is that I doubt he'll be haunted by this KO
He got knocked out in the Ams but came back against the same opponent showing no fear despite being banjoed

 

Torrez can probably still do OK against the right opponent but he needs to stay far, far away from Itauma...I would be legit scared for his health.

I wouldn't mind seeing him against some stiff with power like Mahmoudov, it would be edge of your seat stuff.

 

Unlike Itauma, Sanchez is a quick counterpuncher on the move. I actually think Torrez would fare better vs Itauma due to both guys having a (kinda similar) style.

But it wouldn't be surprising if Itauma sparked him.
