ESTIMATED see the difference. If only you had ever boxed before........................ and just so you know it was estimated Hearns gained SEVEN POUNDS from the weigh in to the fight. A little different then TWENTY POUNDS don't you think ?

You just invented this seven thing. The source says he entered the ring as a middleweight.

And why didn’t this Thomas Hearns drop back to 154 or 147 when day before weigh ins became a thing:

There is no source that says he entered at that weight. Its a made up "fact" that you attempted to use to say look yesterdays fighters did it too when they simply did not.

Yet we have absolutely no idea where this seven number came from and I sourced my response.

Hearns was a weight cutter. Just like Inoue and 135 Crawford.

Almost every single fighter has always cut weight here and there. But to put TWENTY some pounds on is a different story.
You threw out some random BS number that went from 150 to 160lbs and of course to try to prove a point you went with 160 which is laughable considering it was a known fact that Hearns had TROUBLE gaining weight especially when he was YOUNG.
As he got older of course he is going to grow considering Hearns was 18 when he turned pro.
But todays weigh ins? Jesus Hearns could have stayed at welter for a considerable amount of time.

It literally starts at 155. That's literally middleweight, which is what I said.

    I'd like an apology.

Duran did roids. Hagler did coke during training camp. Hearns was a cutter. And Ray Leonard was an addict. These are all facts.

I got SEVEN from people that were actually THERE unlike googling things. That topic was HUGE for many years and I used to watch them go back and forth to the point they had to be separated.

    We call that hearsay.

BTW Hearns lost his legs and got knocked out so maybe that isn't the best example.

If someone came in at 146bs and put on SEVEN pounds how much is that ? 153 lbs genius. 154lbs is the actual limit for JR MIDDLEWEIGHT.
So I would learn the weight classes before wanting an apology when your calculations are wrong.

It didn't actually happen that way.

We call that actually being around people that were actually THERE and not googling things pretending to know.

You do know that Leonard at one time had a boxing gym and an amateur team that would compete in pretty much all the amateur tournaments ?

Well, 3 of them are really really good…
For the record, I don’t put Mosley, Tito, Oscar, Hopkins, chocolatito as generational talent and all have possibly hold p4p 1 at one stage.
I do put Money, Pac and Roy as generational
