A lot of fans don't care for boxing below featherweight. They'll be crossover with Chocolatito's fanbase, sure.

Loma was great but he went to sleep at the wrong time in key fights. Plus, he has too many apologists. You don't need to excuse Inoue's career because there's zero controversy. Gone also is the insistence that he needs a mega fight after beating Nakatani. Historically, many have deeper records. By modern standards, Naoya's record can't be faulted...unless you keep shifting the goal posts.

Fights the best opponents.
Not afraid to take risks and a knockdown.

So he is obviously deserving of the top spot. Compare that to some past p4p names like canelo and his antics and a-side advantages and maneuvering to get opponents at the right time and avoid them at the wrong time...

Usyk (before dubois 2) is just a crazy opponent for p4p number one. That is basically impossible to live up to, concerning fan friendly. But so many don't care about what the fighter actually dares and does and rather about the media package and hype surrounding the fighter. It's too much about identification, like they are soccer clubs or something...

We’re six pages into the thread and zero posters have named any additional boxers who were less deserving.
