Gypsy Clown, Bum Joshua, and Dubois are all Olympic-style, boxing-oriented fighters. They tried to outbox Usyk at his own specialty. I would have been more interested to see Usyk face the tough heavyweight competition of the '90s, when calculated forward pressure was a major part of the game—guys like Tyson, Tua, Holyfield, and Lewis. I'm not sure Usyk would have fared as well against that type of opposition. I think he would have been a short-lived heavyweight competitor.

Could beat everyone, Tyson wasn't at his peak. Would slightly favor Lewis, Usyk probably beats everyone else unless Tyson really digs to the body. Holyfields pressure, inside fighting should be a nightmare for Usyk but he lost to Moorer so nope.

I think David Tua would take Verhoeven and put him in the meat grinder.

And put Usyk to sleep along the way.

How can you say that after he just got outboxed for 10 rounds vs a rookie kickboxer? Your opinion seems to be dated pre Rico fight.

Usyk is 39 and might have gotten off the couch at a career heaviest, he will get a pass for that but yeah i agree that is a terrible look. Boxing is getting exposed by outsiders and Usyk is to blame

Tua got outboxed by Byrd, if you remember. Ibeabuchi could be a tough fight, but his feet were too slow.

The best fights would be the big 3: Tyson, Holyfield and Lewis.

He cleans up. Lewis and Holyfield are massive challenges. Tyson didn't have the dimension to deal.
