Would this be a better win for Gassiev than 44 year old Pulev? I guess it would be more impressive if he became the first pro to stop Yoka. Good crossroads fight. If either loses convincingly they should retire.
He hasn't done anything at heavyweight but many people here treat him like he's a major player in the division and I don't see it.
Yeah, he sucks. Wallin would probably beat him convincingly, which shows that this is probably a decent match-up, even though I think Gassiev wins. Just shows you how Olympic success doesn't always translate. I wonder if Jalolov will turn out similar.
This title was literally made for the undeserving. It's not like ancient Pulev, Charr, or Gassiev did anything special. Just stick around, lose some fights that show you can't cut it at the top level, and a WBA Regular title shot awaits!
I think Tony Yoka will stop Gassiev. Yoka at 260lbs looks better than Yoka at 240lbs who lost three times in a row.
