Ford must have been hurt, he was visibly shaken when he landed outside the ring, there was quite a drop off. It probably affected him for the rest of the fight.

Might have Ford won the fight if not for that?

    Should Foster have been disqualified?

Soon as he did that with no point deduction, I knew Ford couldn't win on the cards.

Not disqualified but at least one point deducted and Ford should’ve got five minutes to recover. Given how razor thin the fight was the fact it happened does open up the question of if Ford could’ve won otherwise. Really stupid stuff from Foster.

No ref handled it fine. Frankly some refs are too quick to deduct points. A warning is fine for a first infraction

Agreed, he didn’t “throw him out of the ring” on purpose. It was some exceptional rough housing, but I don’t think his intention was to send Ford to the floor, lol. You can even see his shock as Ford continues to slide through the ropes fully horizontal. Haha!

It was a freak accident from typical roughhousing. Ford should have been given a while to recover though. 5-10mins easy.

No but maybe ford should have gotten 5 minutes or a have the doctor check him

Weird accident, Foster trying to shove/throw Ford away and Ford went through the ropes but had a pretty controlled fall and didnt try to milk it

Should have had at least a point deducted imo, was pretty egregious.

He didn't seem to have intended it, that's true. But using the spinning force and still pushing on top of that was more than the usual roughhousing.

At least one point deduction. That was dangerous either way, and if you only deduct Points on the second infringement, any fighter could intentionally do the worst things...

You absolutely deduct points there IF NOT disqualification for a busch league move like Foster pulled last night. No room in the great sport of boxing for that nonsense. Foster needs to be better

2 points, that was blatant, unsportsmanlike and just dirty

If I were Ford I’d have retaliated with the same move once no deduction
