Uysk vs the Fury family...name some other family fueds

    Usyk had the two classics against Tyson Fury (well...one classic) and now, Peter Fury has now engineered what was almost the greatest upset of all-time with Rico Verhoueven.

    Can we come up with other family feuds, where a fighter fought more than one member of a family?

    Of the top of my head, I can think of Holmes fighting both Spinks brothers, Louis fighting both Baer brothers, and Jack Johnson fighting both Jeffries brothers.

    Roberto Duran went 3-0 vs the Viruet brothers, Adolfo and Edwin.

    Roberto also lost to Marvin Hagler and his half-brother Robbie Sims.

    Not exactly what we’re talking about here, but all three Summerhays brothers from Canada fought on the same Madison Square Garden card and I think all three lost … two of them to the Benitez brothers (Wilfred and Gregorio) iirc.

    Canelo fought the Smith brothers Callum and Liam. George Groves fought Paul Smith the older brother and Callum Smith. Probably a few other opponents shared between them.

    Looked it up and want to correct myself:

    Yes, the three brothers Summerhays did fight on the same MSG card in 1974, and all three did lose — but it was Frankie Benitez who beat Johnny Summerhays and Wilfred defeated Terry. Gary Summerhays lost to Pedro Soto.
