Nery might need to consider retirement I reckon. I adore Yabuki and I’m glad to see him putting together a decent title reign at fly. Moloney I hope fights Teraji soon, since Willibaldo Garcia was supposed to fight him on the Inoue-Picasso card.

 

Well apparently Moloney-Baloney could face Yabuki next in his maiden title defense. Whereas Teraji will face Israel Gonzalez on July 20th on a big card in Japan.

With Nery....Yeah I think he should call it quits.

I know neri is done, not surprised at all that casimero won. But I'd swear it was a dive.

In a way, Moloney was a bit lucky. He was the away fighter in a sense, Garcia had more leverage behind him with Sean Gibbons and Koki Kameda, Moloney costed too much in the last four rounds and this could have backfired horribly. Now In the first eight rounds, Moloney had the cleaner work, but wasn't courageous enough and gave too much respect to Garcia. As for the champion, sloppy technique and incredible work rate and determination, I'm rather sad he lost tonight.

It was a decent enough fight. I wouldn't mind a rematch..

Nery looked absolutely terrible while Casimero got the job done albeit with the help of the referee counting pushes and hitting while down as knockdowns. They clearly wanted to ensure that Nery did not win after missing weight again and Nery himself knew this after the second round which resulted in him not even trying. Still can’t stand Casimero and his antics and dirtiness but I’ll give him a pass just for this.

This fight is giving the illusion that Casimero is “back” and still a legitimate threat to Inoue when in reality he really isn’t.

 

Unfortunately that’s the case. Now that Casimero won his fans are now gonna continue this narrative that Inoue is “scared” of him. Part of me wants to see this fight just for the mere fact of finally shutting up his fans. But legacy wise Inoue gains absolutely nothing from destroying Casimero.

 

He gains a little bit from fighting Casimero. He's a big name at the weight, he's a big puncher, and he's a former 3-weight world champion. Casimero gets steamrolled fairly easily by Inoue but he was at one point a genuine threat for the divisions he fought in and was a serious talent even if he has now squandered that. It would also tidy up Inoue's 118 accomplishments since Casimero was the one guy at the weight who had a belt around the same time who Inoue never managed to get to. I wouldn't mind seeing it while waiting for the Bam fight tbh.

 

This.Casimero was one of the best in the weight class once upon a time.He beat Tete who ktfo buttler in rnd 1.Also he made Neri look like meh and i always thought Nery was a pretender.With a glass chin.He fought Rigo who is Donaire daddy.This has to happen.I favor Inoue by destruction.But I think Casimero could make it interesting.He has a puncher chance.A slim one.But i said in my analysis to beat Inoue you have to hurt him bad.Casimero brings that element.Probably unlikely but i feel he catches inoue slipping it could get interesting.

 

Jesus. This makes Casimeros ducking of Inoue **** me off even more. That would have been a fun one.

 

Like many great fighters you have to take them out of their element and make it a brawl. Which can easily backfire. Inoue probably KOs Casimero always but he would have to be very careful. If it gets wild and ugly Casimero has a chance.

 

This does nothing for Inoue. If he wants to stamp himself as an ATG go up to 126 and fight Espinoza, not Figueroa, not Leo who’s one of my favorite fighters but the actual king of 126.

 

Casimero stock went up again.Pacquiao called him the other day to make the fight happen.The Man Manny Pacquiao via FB live.Real recognize real.I always said Casimero has that x factor.Australian promoter Angelo Hyder wants to bring him to Australia to fight Moloney.He is in demand! If he beats moloney and Akmadaliev and impresses the demand increases.
