The willingness of Boots to take punches would not suit him well against La Motta. Likewise, Ennis’ punch output would pale in comparison to that of Jake’s. There is no doubt that Ennis punches harder, but I don’t know how much he could actually hurt La Motta who could take an awful lot and keep going. Through sheer activity level I have Jake winning by decision.
