"Prime" Lewis finished Golata in one......

A washed up Tyson impersonator finished Golata in two......

Lewis stopped the Ghost of Mike Tyson in 8 and lost the first round to this shell of a shell....

Lewis is the only Champ in the history of the sport who was laid out not once but twice by a single right hand thrown by B level fighters.

If B level guys can flatten Lewis with their eyes closed you can bank Tyson will land the Right which is in another zipcode in terms of speed, accuracy , timing and power in comparison to those two B level fighters plus one of those B level guys is borderline glass chinned.

If Lewis shows up safety first like in Holy 1 with his trunks pulled up to his nipples so he can claim any body punch is low he will get out hustled over 12 by Tyson.

If he comes out guns blazing like vs the Polish Mental Midget he gets stopped fairly quick because his achilles heel, his chin will betray him and Lewis has never ever beat the count when he was knocked down aka once he goes down he stay down

Didn't Mike get his ass whooped by a B Level fighter in Douglas, for ten rounds? Before getting sent to the shadow realm? Didn't hear get punked by a version of Holyfield considered washed by the public and wasnt he getting embarrassed again so he did one of the most disgusting acts in boxing history and bit Evanders ear off?

I think the Tyson you're writing about would also have lost to Berbick, and in fact, he's the one who defeated Lewis and Danny Williams, but we're talking about the best versions of both boxers.

Tyson showed in his worst fights that even out of shape he's a dangerous fighter, while Lewis showed in his worst fights that he lacks a chin.
You can develop athletic form, but a chin is the same.

As many others have claimed in the past decade or so, you had to grind Tyson down over the course of a fight and drown him in the later rounds. You had to develop a strict game plan and you better implement it.

Lewis is more beatable just by virtue that his chin is susceptible to 1 punch KO's against a man who is one of the best 1 punch KO artists to ever live.

Lewis was bigger, better and more dominant for way longer. Tyson fantasists out in force here in this thread predictably.

Lewis flogs him anytime and you Tyson fanciers deep down know it.

Perhaps, but almost every boxer they shared the ring with claims Tyson was better. It seems Tyrell Biggs, Oliver McCall, Donovan Ruddock, Frank Botha, Frank Bruno, and Evander Holyfield are Tyson fanatics, but the forum fans know better than them.

Notice that none of us Tyson "fanatics" instigate by calling those who pick the other guy as Lewis "apologists". We simply state our case and move on. We haven't stooped to their level.

Par for the course, eh Jakub?

Why does Tyson always get the benefit of the doubt?

If you're choosing Tyson's version of the Douglas fight, shouldn't you choose Lewis's version of the McCall fight?

When did Evander say Tyson was better than Lewis? I’d like to see that. And McCall never even fought Tyson only sparred with him which means squat.
And boxers are known for their honesty in these matters aren’t they? I mean Ruddock had two competitive wars with Tyson whereas Lewis destroyed him in two but he reckons Tyson’s better? Yeah right. Ditto Holyfield (if he even said that Tyson was better). He trounced Tyson and was going to again in the rematch before Tyson found a way out. Lewis outboxed Holyfield comfortably in fight one and close but clear in fight two. Tyson didnt get close to doing that so if Holyfield said Tyson was better it’s purely to big himself up because he beat the so called “best” fighter he fought. Boxers do it all the time. Ego’s at play so I do take a fighters opinion with a huge grain of salt. Most of them are full of it.
