That fight was probably the most watched show on tv that week. Even stuff like Eastenders and Coronation Street don’t get 5 million anymore.

Analysts generally believe the UK subscriber base is well under 1 million and likely in the several-hundred-thousand range

The number must be low if they don't publish it and huge losses are being incurred.

Would be suprised if it even touches 10,000 in the UK.

100%. Once BT Sport became TNT after the Warner joint venture, the writing was on the wall. These platforms seem to be run as loss leaders now, just to rope people into bigger bundles and contracts.

Back in the day the basic Sky or Virgin package often felt like better value than the add-ons. Now everything's bloated with overpriced content that's getting worse because it's all chasing shorter attention spans. Half of modern TV feels like a casino slot machine designed to keep you paying.

    Confirmation doesn't exist

Unless you can prove me wrong by posting proof "shun"

Or we'll just file it away in the "Phil talks bollocks" section alongside Connor Benn going down as the best British welter weight of all time

Last night summed up the quality mismatch on DAZN perfectly.

The Bam fight was top drawer, while the Misfits card looked like something put together outside a kebab shop at 2am. No wonder the Ibiza final boss left the Tyne, because with a skill set like that he'd be getting his head and ass handed to him after a few brown ales back home.

Misfits feels like one of those things you'd accidentally stumble across at 4am on an obscure channel in the bowels of Sky Digital back in the day.

Car crash TV giving the dregs of social media celebrity a platform to behave like thuggish wankers and IFL and Dazn lose a lot of credibility for enabling it

Edit: IFL lost their credibility years ago so disregard that bit ha

Hard to disagree. If boxing is the sweet science, then it's art v con artistry. Misfits would probably work better if it just embraced being reality TV and scripted like the WWE, because some of those fights were absolute garbage, and in the women's bouts the quality gap was a bridge too far.

Still, it obviously has an audience – Big John Fury couldn't even make it back to the dressing room without taking his shirt off and calling someone out in the crowd.

I purchased that misfits card, my daughter's wanted to watch it. Can't lie I had a right good laugh. Was so strange, it took me back to watching WWF as a kid. Surely a large sum of this is scripted. Jordan McCaan is a first class dickhead. His fight had me in tears of laughter. The poor Geordie lad at the end was dead on his feet, couldn't even open his eyes but no-one was giving a damn and they interviewing him lol.

Some geezer called Big Stacks was fighting Armz. These 2 are massive so was looking forward to it. Guess what though? It was a body shot only fight!!!!! What the actual ****. Was the most ridiculous thing I've ever seen so after the first round I ****ed off for a bit, came back and some how Big Stacks got stopped in the 4th round haha.

    Fury Vs Hall was rubbish.

Read today on the BBC that Campbell Hatton at the age of 25 has joined Misfits.

I can see Connor Benn joining misfits when he gets battered a couple of times and Zuffa figure out he can't shift tickets with out CEJ.

If he eventually slows down spending (big if) I think he'll retire once the Zuffa deal is up

Have to admit to completely swerving the misfits show and watching the WBM show from York Hall on Boxnation

Yeah he did come out and say he has signed to them. I don't blame the lad to be honest. Big Stacks who had a tickling session earned 50k. Same with that Jordan bloke. I would fight anyone of them for 50k!! Crazy money for what they do.
