Some might say that Hearns got tired cos Ray punched the stamina out of him - what's your thoughts?

Did Tommy get tired cos he couldn't do 15 rounds or did Leonard have something to do with him losing?

I am a huge Hearns fan and Ray won because he proved to go long with the flash he had substance and he endured and win its that simple.

Oscar vs Benitez? Its a good matchup

oscar would really have to be determined to get a decision

probably would lose to Duran. doesnt have the foot speed to pull it off

vs hearns, might actually lose on points but would have his moments

Hagler, although no longer dangerous, figures to pull off a close one

i would say Leonard has slightly better wins

Hearns would swell his eye up with that jab and then crunch him with the right hand.
Benitez maybe at welter but at Jr. middle no.
Duran runs him over at welter.

    116 - 113 Hagler
    Hagler took rds 2, 4, 5, 7, 8, 9, 10, 11 while Leonard took all the rest

Contrary to the myth that Leonard swept the first 4 rds, some people simply werent watching closely enough

The proper way to score a fight. never trust punchstat, it lacks accuracy.

I thought Hagler won as well but plenty of people had Leonard including the judges. Regarding Duran, Ray did his job and showed up in peak condition and with a smart gameplan unlike the first fight. It's Leonards fault that Duran blew up in weight between fights. Duran quit in the ring because he was being dominated. That's not meaningless.

I mean... same thing applies to Hoya.

Green Hearns and fat Durans better than anyone Hoya officially beat.

You just called the Duran win... meaningless.

Duran isn't overrated as a LW. He's overrated for what he did above it.
Leonard isn't the best 147. Hence he's overrated.
Hearns isn't the best 154. Hence he's overrated.
Hagler isn't the best 160. Hence he's overrated.

Hearns is an atg climbing multiple weights with a very good resume. Who would you pick to beat Hearns at 147 outside of Leonard ? SRR is the only one imo

    I didn't write he was the G.O.A.T.
I Clearly recognized he didn't have the quantity of wins to be considered for that.
    Reading is fundamental.....

I never said you did ...

    I referred to GOAT consideration.

I even offered additional hypothetical to what would make the case stronger - then qualified it with Langford, Charles and Greb.

Reading is fundamental and we are not in disagreement.
